Dear Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Sufferer,
Are you applying the correct treatment?
The majority of sufferers don't!
They are not getting enough sleep, and the pain doesn't leave them in peace. Many come to me at their wit's end.
In doesn't matter if:
I can help you, and you can help yourself from my experience.
For the last four years, I've been regaining the use of BOTH of my hands. From Scratch!
In the beginning, I couldn't move them or feel them. I had to be fed, washed, shaved, and dressed.
NIGHTMARE!
I fully understand the following:
I know all about putting my recovery back by banging my hand on hard surfaces through frustration.
That's pretty hardcore. Fortunately, nowadays I suffer like this:
Thank goodness for the dishwasher!
By now you should of guessed I'm English, not Spanish. I love the Spanish, they've been amazing to me.
Professional Occupational Therapist's Opinion:
REFLECTIONS ON BLAKE SCHOFIELD'S WORK ON CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME

"In my 20 years of professional experience as an Occupational Therapist I have met an important number of patients, with a countless number of qualities and great talent of effort and personal overcoming, but truly one of the patients who has stood out for his consistency, organization, interest, enthusiasm and discipline, during the treatment period which he received from the Occupational Therapy service addressed to improve his functional performance and specifically to improve the functionality of his hands, is Blake Schofield.
For approximately one and a half years he actively participated assisting the Occupational Therapy Service where I work and I have to note he drove many kilometers to arrive at the hospital.
When he informed me of his wish to give help to people who are presented with functionality loss of their hands, I didn't doubt about providing my support and collaboration through the revision of his work on Carpal Tunnel Syndrome which was completed with such hard work and dedication.
Personally, I find the work organized and the chapters which it contains follow a logical and organized sequence which eases its consultation.
The language is formal, but understandable and avoids very technical terminology and can be consulted by any kind of reader.
It's explanations, orientation and recommendations make that the reader know better his/her problem, and motivate him/her "with consistency and interest" to perform a series of exercises that strengthen the hands, provide a better functionality and orientate to try and avoid a new case of Carpal Tunnel.
Consequently, as an Occupational Therapist who understands the treatment of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, I support it's orientation of intervention, I don't find it's recommendations aggressive, it doesn't include any kind of apparatus that could, in some cases,be counterproductive or contraindicated;
On the contrary, it's recommendations are addressed to reduce the problematics of the pain, edema, paresthesia, and loss of strength and all of the actions are orientated to improve the functionality of the hands and performed directly for every person who when on consulting it's orientations will know better his/her particular case and will be able to graduate his/her tolerance on performing the indicated exercises".
Just before we go into the details and features of what you'll get if you decide to count on my help...
... Here are the results of Norma Sandoval's case study: (It's pretty extreme poor lass) I managed to help her quickly:
Norma Sandoval's results - Nicaragua.:
“But when Blake indicated the exercises that I should do and shouldn't do, I have felt much better”
- Norma Sandoval

"Blake; Today I have realized that after three years of hand pain and inflammations, with treatments of bags of hot water that even burnt my skin, placing my hands in paraffin wax and later ultrasound, creams, etc...
... I only achieved the slightest pain relief in 2007.
Afterwards due to several falls which made my hands and knees feel all the weight of my body the situation worsened until the limit that I didn't know what to do.
I didn't sleep by night or by day.
So I decided to visit a new specialist in hands who detected carpal tunnel syndrome in my right hand and also in my left - but less.
I'm now into my third month after surgery on my right hand, but only 5 days after the operation I fell down and my arms and hand suffered terribly, and today I feel certain sharp pains.
But when Blake indicated the exercises that I should do and shouldn't do, I have felt much better in such a way that I recommend you to read with attention this marvelous report (Norma was referring to the my e-book) from which I have managed in a big way to alleviate the pain in both of my hands.
Blake, I remember that you once gave me a little test to see if I could remember what I did in every month from July 2007 - July 2008.
Now I have just summarized my last three years.
Thanking you from all of my heart your help Blake, let god keep illuminating you so that our hands obtain the improvement that they need.
Let me give you a couple more testimonials.

Here's what Lorry says about our therapy...
"I was able to get into the different stages. Congratulations, very interesting information, a lot of common sense and also very easy to do!
My carpal tunnel is quite good, every now and then I do get some numbness, especially in the morning, but with the splint I sleep all night.
I have been careful with manual work, I have been wearing a wrist splint every night (actually on both hands just in case), I have also been doing the exercises along with my regular yoga sessions.
So yeah, good.
I´m also pleased to find out that I´m on the right track, I will definitely be doing your exercises (not difficult at all and good instructions).
Thank you,
Lory
Just One more Testimonial coming The into the nitty gritty.
I think it's important you get a feel from a very varied bunch of people.

"Many, many thanks indeed for this - I got it all opened up. I was at the hospital yesterday and they want to do surgery but I said I don't want it and give me another month to think about it.
Delighted to tell you I got myself a wrist splint this morning at our local Trulife shop (made in Canada) and am wearing it as I type. I also wore it driving home in the car and could certainly feel relief. Because of the limited movement I drove more slowly, and thereby became aware of the extent of wrist movement while steering.
It is quite comprehensive and good to be made aware of these everyday things we take for granted until they go out of order.
I have not started a proper exercise routine yet but have been putting on an ice pack for 20 min. every day (my daughter who is a physio recommended that) and it is definitely helping.
The main times I get into trouble are when I am using the computer mouse (overuse I guess) and sometimes when I am driving my right hand goes completely numb.
In fact I started a Christian fellowship about seven years ago. (I get told I am like a mother to them!)
I am telling you this so you can see that by making me a gift of your therapy program you too are contributing to the welfare of a wider group of people.
Thank you so much.
God bless you and continue to make you a blessing,
I find it quite funny how many blessings I get. Especially becuase in one of my warm up exercises I look like I'm praying.
You can see comments, posts and presentations in my Spanish Blog if you wish. Your Spanish has to be spot on to understand it though. (www.tunelcarpiano.wordpress.com)
