My hand stayed wrapped up for 1 1/2 weeks, and then they removed the stitches. The doctor put a very small ACE bandage on my hand after the stitches and told me to do light movement; however, he did not suggest any physical therapy. The main problems that I’m having are, when I reach for something a sharp tingling runs down from my arm to my hand. Also, two inches around the incision it is numb and I also have some pain in the palm that feels like a knife sticking into it. Thanks, Maurice Godwin |
