: Doctor told me to take bandage off on 2nd. day and put a bandaid on incision. This I did. Have been changing bandaids every day since. I check hand after I felt the pulling, and there is a very small opening between stiches, but it isn't bleeding or anything. In fact I can see the inner cut and that is not opened up, just the little gap on top. I am going to be MORE careful from now on!!! I reckon I just get carried away with things!! I think in my mind I jump from don't hurt, looks good, to ....must be well! Well then, just put a steri strip or butterfly over that area so it doesn't separate any more, and be more careful! Glad it wasn't worse.
