: Thanks for listening. Hi Fran. I had my left hand "done" about 4 years ago. Best thing I ever did! The actual procedure was amazingly quick and painless. Had very little discomfort afterwards. The hardest part was getting my grip back. Think it took close to a year to get back to normal. Hardest part was the physical therapy - I had a lot of scar tissue. If doc tells you to use hand - do it. I babied mine for a couple of months - mistake. Hand I did not have done has gotten almost unbearable - unfortunately I no longer have job with health insurance. Wish I had stayed longer and had other hand done. Time well spent!!!
