I think you have the right idea Copdaddy, take it slow. I went back to my work out classes and only use 3 lb wieghts with my brace on, if something doesn't feel right I stop doing it and try a different excercise. I also do Adams streaches when I can. But even months later I still watch what I try to do and pick up. The doctor told me to take it easy for a year so that's what I am going to try to do.

Hi Kitty- You are so right. I think I went back to work too soon. It has been 7 wks today since I had ct surgery done to both of my wrists. I am so use to working all the time. I have been with my same secretary job for 36 yrs now and enjoy my work. My husband & I own our business, so I can rest my hands and take breaks whenever I feel like it. I actually work 8-5 every day, except when my hands hurt-then I take off early. But I guess being on the computer alot does put alot of stress on the hands.
I also deal with antiques, and am having a big show coming up the end of this month. I set up alot of glassware and smalls there twice a year. I always look so forward to doing that, and am hopeing to do it again the end of this month. My husband puts up the 20 x20 canopy for me and I do the rest, but he will have to help me unpack this time, because I just do not have my strength back yet and my hands really hurt when I do lifting and alot of moving around. It may take me a few days to set up, but I will just take my time and do it slow and not overdo it.
