Di You could apply a light layer of triple antibiotic ointment, but I wouldn't use anything besides that until the stitch holes close. Only apply it once a day, you don't want to get it too moist. I kept my incision covered with a gauze pad to keep the stitches from getting snagged on anything. Keeping it dry and covered may help it from feeling so "dried out".
