Hi Arthur, I had a hearing with the Workers Comp Commission and it was nothing at all. I did all the talking. First my lawyer asked me questions such as what kind of work I did, for how long, how many hours, and what was the date of the injury. Then the companies lawyer had their chance to ask me questions. Just keep your mind on the questions that their lawyers ask you because they may change the date hoping you won't catch it. I focused on each and every question they asked me and when they tried a little trick question, I would catch it. The hearing consisted of the Judge, a court reporter, me and my attorney, their lawyer and the safety rep from the company. It took two weeks to hear the judges verdict. I won and they appealed which took another 4 weeks, the appeal judge ruled in my favor. Its nothing to worry about. Just have the facts and dates stored in your mind and you'll do fine.
