Hi Ally,
Soundslike you need a visit to the doctor. The lump you mentioned could be a cyst, they sometimes "fill up" and then drain on their own. I have one on my upper arm and I swear it is a different size weekly. But it doesn't cause pain or anything. But get yourself to a doctor to have it checked out. They would best know what is causing your problems.
