Have them both done at the same time -- you'll have a baseline for your left should you experience worsening in that hand in the future.

I just had my right hand only done last month -- having surgery in April. Wishing badly I had asked the doc to do the left, while I was there. I think he didn't do the left, as it was ordered, cuz he was running really late. Kicking myself now!!
