My pain is mostly on the top of my hand and the side of my wrist below the thumb, when I bend my thumb in towards my palm, the pain shoots all the way up my hand and wrist into my arm.... I agree with what you said to Evelyn, I think Ortho Dr's look to surgery as the only cure, they don't want to consider any alternatives, especially if it is work related... I guess we have to stand strong and just say NO to surgery :) I know I would never have it done on my other hand, I'd try anything and everything first before going through this again.... Linda
