ROTFLMAO :-D : The Flextend saga came to mind from a while back. Someone said they worked with doctors & none of them have heard of Flextend so the product couldn't be any good. If that doc today is an example to go by, is it any wonder they never heard of Flextend? LOL : The way I see it is, doctors are like car mechanics, except they fix humans. Sometimes we expect them to have all the answers but the reality is that it's unreasonable to expect them to know everything. : My trip to the doc made me laugh though. Just hope the surgeon has more knowledge!! LOL As you all know, I am new on here and I am not trying to offend anyone. I have yet to find a M.D. that recommends an alternative to surgery. We are all different ages and have different problems and what works for one might not work for someone else. After Melani's experience, I will go a long way before I give into surgery. The options that my doctor has given me is Cortisone or surgery. I am allergic to Cortisone so that is out. I am waiting for Melani's evaluation before I spend the money for Flextend, but I am not going to rule them out. |
