Turned out she had never heard of Cubital Tunnel Syndrome! OK maybe it's not as common as Carpal & a GP can't be expected to know everything but a typo in my records? ROTFLMAO :-D : The Flextend saga came to mind from a while back. Someone said they worked with doctors & none of them have heard of Flextend so the product couldn't be any good. If that doc today is an example to go by, is it any wonder they never heard of Flextend? LOL : The way I see it is, doctors are like car mechanics, except they fix humans. Sometimes we expect them to have all the answers but the reality is that it's unreasonable to expect them to know everything. : My trip to the doc made me laugh though. Just hope the surgeon has more knowledge!! LOL Before this gets out of whack I'm going to share my experiences for today. I just got home from getting my stitches out and everythings seems great. Just waiting on the fingers to come back to life. If anyone whats a good referral, find a plastic surgeon. Mine is wonderful and I know theres good Orthopaedic doctors out in the world also. Doctors do make mistakes, which I became well aware of. As for flextend. Some doctors may of never heard of it because they have their own ways of doing things and stick with it. I now know 2 doctors who recommend it. Lets not get back on the flextend kick. I do have both for the left and right hand. I will let everyone know my honest opinion of them. The best way to know the truth about something is to try it. No one can really say whether this works or that doesn't work without testing it out. I will update and let you know if they really work or not. Melani
