Also, I'm having a hard time writing (more than typing), is this common...remember, I had the trigger thumb release, so that may add to the discomfort. my hand peeled at the incision site. i took scissors and trimmed the dead skin off, then massaged with cocoa butter w/vitsmine..my handwriting took a long time to improve. my hand wore out to fast when handwriting. we can't give up though, practice and determination full speed. good luck in healing...melani
