I have my pre-op on Wed. Surgery is scheduled for Feb. 9. I have debated back and forth about having the surgery. When hands are good, I'm not having it, but when they start hurting, I think it is time for it. I am going to go thru it. Not sure what will happen, as I am raising our 2 grands. Hubby isn't working yet, so he will be here daily until he gets a job. 19 y/o will be here before noon after he gets out of college for the day. : I am just nervous about the surgery and recovery time. I think I have everything in place. : TTYL How old are your grands? I hope it will go well...I've been thankful that it is just my husband and myself to tend to. I went on a business trip with my husband and I wore a sling in the airport and crowded places just to try to help people not hit my hand unintentionally, or to shake hands when we got to the meeting. That might help your grands respect your hand more. Just a thought. The only thing that I needed that I didn't read on the board was several pair of pants with elastic waist...still can't zip! |
