thanks for letting me know that wc does pay for this machine. not even a finger has swelled this time using the ice pump. if wc doesnt loan it out to me for a while, i'm thinking about buying one. they're worth the money. i credit the machine to the low pain level this time around. thanks lynne for sharing your info. you've convinced me to go after one....melani
