As most people only have one wrist done at a time, they are able to favour their post-op hand by using their other hand for most things. I don't know how you've been getting by in the bathroom, not to mention the kitchen. It's really important I think to heal right the first time so I'd suggest being exceedingly cautious.

Thanks so very much to everyone who replied. Adam your exercise diagram is great!!!
My hubby took me to the doc yesterday and he removed the stitches (ouch) He said the incisions really looked good and also said that this will just take time to heel. I feel alot better with all the support you all have given me. I can do a little more each day-but still have not mastered opening the car door and driving. I am so used to just getting up and going whenever I want to, and now I am so handicapped. My next ck-up is on March 1st. The doc said I should be able to drive by then. I am hoping to drive by this weekend. Just tired of staying home. Thanks Again Everyone. You All Are Very Special People. Ruth
