I have two Jobs my main one is a Social Worker and then I am an Executive Councillor on Chester-le-Street District Council - which keeps me busy in my spare time. Social Work pays £26000 a year and I get an allowance of £6000 for being an Executive Member.

I used to live in Consett! Took a job at Shotley Bridge General as a staff nurse in their kids ward around 1992. What a mistake! Their standards of nursing were so poor I left after 3 weeks. Later heard that there had been terrible drug errors made by the sister & a doctor. Heard the place shut down - probably for the best. I hired a van to move my stuff from London to Consett & got lost trying to return the van to a depot in Chester-le-Street. LOL
