Has anyone had success using trackballs or wrist wraps or wrist pads?

My wrist and palm are sore from some intense programming over the last few weeks. Last night my arm kept me up with a numb pain.

On this site I see links to a rocketmouse, but that looks pretty awkward for a software developer.

Has anyone used the following products (or can suggest one)?

Logitech trackball "marblemouse"
logitech thumbball "trackman"
Belkin waverest wrist/mouse pad
Promedics wristeasy wrist brace (or similar thing)
Keyboard wrist rest (though its really mouse use that is killing me, not typing, but Im open to the idea that this won't last forever)

Anyone use that wild keyboard from safetype?
