I've heard of a teacher who was back in the classroom within 4 days. I'm a factory worker and I was 12 weeks. For 6wks surgeon didn't want me working. Another 6wks my employer didn't want to accommodate my restrictions. Weeks 12 through 14 were "light duty". Others usually fall somewhere in between. Good luck. Adam
