There are so many different theories about the causes of CTS, I thought I'd ask what some of you think is the cause in your case?
I'm in the 30-50 age group and female, so that fits in with the 'hormone' theory. However, I am also an avid 'cross stitcher', play the piano and type/write a lot. Add on the fact that I'm overweight and I had no chance of avoiding CTS, did I? ;)
I'm wondering if this means that the cause could be down to my 'hormones' and weight, and doesn't mean I'll have to give up my main hobby of needlecraft? No one has advised me to cease but I'd hate to carry on and find that I need further surgery.
So, what do you think is the cause behind your CTS?
