: Most Texas Ranchers won't hire you without the greencard. The fines are just as high for ranchers as it is for businesses. My dad was one to find out the hard way, years ago. An immigration helicopter landed on our ranch and picked up one illigal alien. My dad had to pay the mans wages up to date, and a stiff fine that he'll never forget.
