: If surgery is recommended I'd say go for it. It's very minor stuff & even if it doesn't cure, it's sure to take some pressure off the median nerve & give you relief from your symptoms. The surgery itself is nothing to be worried about. I'd be more scared of the dentist.

: Take your time, find out as much as you can about cts & its treatment but don't believe ALL you read. There's a whole lot of BS on this internet!

Good advice Evelyn. I can't tell you how many times my doctors have told me the same thing. I've taken articles to them, they laugh, and ask me to let them know what I don't understand. A doctors advice is much better than whats out in the web. Who knows whats writing what? Melani
