Hi! I had the surgery on 12/22 and I'm very glad I did. It's frustrating b/c the healing is very slow, but my pain is gone. All I have now is "surgery" pain and I know that will go away. The people on this board have been wonderful throughout my whole drama. Very understanding and supportive and honest. Very honest! You can go back on the board and look for both me and "dmm" posts for our progress since recent surgeries. Good luck!

: I am new to this group, so first off I want to say HI:)
: I am going to have the carpal tunnel release surgery next Friday and I am very nervous. I have heard so many different stories (some good, some bad). Well, all I know is I can't keep living with this pain so surgery is the only option at this point. I waited to long before going to see a doctor and now it is effecting my muscles. Anyways, just wanted to say hi.
