I have had months of numbness in my hands off an on, I had the EMG test yesterday and they stated I have advanced carpel tunnel in both arms and "should not mess around with this". They feel I should have surgery on both hands. My appointment with my primary care doctor is next week. I'm wondering what now? Should I get a second opinion and if I have the surgery, what is the rehab. time? I use a computer a good part of my day at work, will I need to find a different job after all this is done? Not sure where to go with all this.
