: Sleeping in the uncomfortable spints have helped me avoid surery so far... That plus giving up many things I once loved. It sounds like your doctor *is not* surgery happy, which is a good sign in some cases..

He is a good doctor he just told me that in some cases the surgery hasnt helped some ppl and that it has come back so he doesnt want me to go through with the surgery and im back to square one i guess. i will try the splinter . i think though that its kinda odd that i would have to wear it only when i sleep and not during the day.
