So I used scar zone every day for a few months (yes it took that long) and the sensitivity finally went away. I still feel it once in a while, but you are right massaging it with some type of cream definitly helps.

: Good thinking DMM! One product that may be of interest is a product called ScarMassage. It works slowly, but does work. I will try to link the page below. If you key in scar massage in a search engine, you should find a good bit more.

This looks like it'd work, but I can't use it at this point as i've got a little bitty spot that's not quite closed, and scabs on the stitch marks. The sunburn gel works fine, and doesn't irritate, at this stage of healing.
