Went this morning to have the cast removed and the stitches out. Having the stitches out was a bit painful, but it was over quickly. Incision is still pretty red and bruised. It's also still a bit swollen right around the cut but my ortho said it looked great. I'm in a brace for a week then I'm on my own. The incision itself is still numb to the touch but tight feeling. And itchy! Range of motion is not good but it's only been a couple of hours. Grip seems to be good. I'm off to take my first SHOWER in 2 weeks!
