Hi Denyce (sp?).
Anyway I was nervous too. I was supposed to have a simple, endoscopic procedure which requires a local and twilighting which I had with wisdom teeth so I know how that goes. Anyway they made a mistake the day of my surgery and gave me a general, my surgeon flipped out, but honestly, I didn't even realize it till he told me two days post op.. I was 'under the weather" from the general for several days, but got through it.
Please come back and tell us exactly what you are having done, seems to me anethesia is never the problem it's working through your daily "stuff" after surgery that is tough.

By the way, most of my pain went with the surgery, I have almost no pain now,nothing like before my surgery, work had become almost unbearable.
