Aleve is Naproxen Sodium, Advil is ibuprofen, both are anti-inflammatory. These are alternatives to aspirin. Tylenol, which is
Acetaminophen, isn't an anti-inflammatory but it can help the pain. I presume those items are available without a prescription in the UK.

Tylenol-3 is Acetaminophen-Codeine and a prescription here in the USA.

I had the new mini-open surgery on Oct. 28. The pain wasn't too bad and the incision healed fast. Not sure the nerve is over the irritation as I still have CTS symptoms. I hope there'll be a lot of improvement in the near future!
