A week and a day later, I have itchiness & soreness but not the same CTS pain I'd had for a year. I'm in a cast so my ability to overdo it is limited. I'm frustrated b/c I can't use my hand but my pain is already SO much less. I'm glad I did it. My advice is to REST YOUR HAND and take the pain meds. Don't be a martyr. Good luck! (P.S. I've been recording my progress on the board, so you check down a little for more specifics.) : hello...i was checking out your board to see what info i could find. i am scheduled for my rt. hand to be done jan. 6th. i have severe problems with both hands and am wondering if this surgery is going to work. any help out there?
