Don's post makes total sense to me, since he and I have the same med. things happening. I had X-rays, MRI, and EMG/NCV testing (plus the ones my primary care doctor did in her office) to discern what was happening. I have spinal disease, and bilateral CTS.

If anything, my suggestion is, once you know for sure if your symptoms are from your neck (and if so), push that the treatment be started conservatively (if that is your choice) and move to the more assertive within a few weeks to a few months (1-3).

There are non-operative means for treating neck/back pain initially.

Not being one to tell anyone else what s/he should or should not do, though, I would research everything within the realm of your ultimate diagnosis/diagnoses and then discuss the otpions with those closest to you or whom know you the best to reach your decisions.

: It's just so strange that I have same symptoms as last time but this time neck and sometimes back pain.I go back to my family doc next week and then we see where to go but the neck and back not getting any better.
