You want to ask things like:
How long to keep the bandages on? Do they get removed and changed before the post op visit to take the stitches out? What kind of pain medicine will I get after? Can I get the pain medicine prescription filled before the surgery? (some drs will do this, some wont) What kind of activity restrictions do I need to follow? When can I drive after the surgery? Will I need to go to physical therapy?

These are some questions you might ask.
Congrtats on finishing college! I went to LSU for a couple years when Shaquille O'Neal was there.
