I wonder if some cases (maybe mine, don't know yet) are caused by both true CT and nerve compression elsewhere. I still have some problems after surgery but I think the nerve is irritated. the doctor did say 6 weeks is too soon to tell so I think that's good news, lol! back to the test--the neurologist I had was an old gentleman who was a retired pediatrician. he turned the machine so I could see it and explained things as he went. I could see the line showing the path of electricity following the nerve "jump" rather than make a straight line. Also, I have his report. Always ask for a copy of the doctor's report, or you can get one from your family doctor if it's being sent there.
