You did brighten the day, Debbie: You posted at the top (now) re: Adam's post :)

In the past, as you may remember, I had posted my address. I no longer do to prevent it from falling into the "wrong" hands or being used by those not "friendly." I agree with you and with so many others... Surgery is such a personal decision (as is any method used) for coping with and trying to face CT conditions, RSIs, etc. It isn't right or appropriate to "scare" others from pending appointments. As those dates approach, support is what is called for and most fitting.

The vast majority of surgeons and doctors are not "numb-skulls" or half-wits. Some times mistakes are made, and it is up to patients, advocates and other (human) resources to, then, confront whatever outcomes and decisions. And, still, like you, I believe, whatever a person chooses, those decisions warrant support, as well.

I think, we've both grown and learned a great deal (and maybe more than we should have or through ways that could have been different) and, a lot as an effect -- or side-effect -- of what we were both met with when we first came here. Now, we are seeking to make the arrival better for others :) Kudos... to you, Debbie, for not relenting :)

: You can find the message from the moderator at message 7902.. Many of the posts where she attacked FIRST have been removed.. We, especially me, responded to those attacks & away we went from there & she has the one of the biggest grudges I've seen to date:) Its a shame that she has allowed herself to get side tracked with her grudge because she seemed to have alot of knowledge about RSI's.. Maybe it would be of benefit to herself & others if she took some courses in human nature & anger management & like you stated, let the glove grow or fail on its own merits. I too wondered who "J" is..

: Repeating myself again & again, I do not think its helpful or nice to scare people who are facing surgery. We are supposed to be here to help others, not to scare them or depress them or make them doubt their doctors & decisions made.
: *All doctors* are not the bad guys who give out false information to their patients & force them into surgeries they don't need, just to make a buck.. How cycnical is that? I will never believe it, never..

: I wish Corey were here to brighten things up like days gone by.
: Debbie
