: Had carpal tunnel release surgery in late 2001.
: The results were very poor in that I still have pain that keeps me from using my hands to do simple chores(washing dishes,carying things, cutting food). I had phycical therapy since the operation with little results.Had acupunture with tempory relief.

Hi,
I am very sorry to hear of your poor results, have you seen another doctor for a second opinion? Maybe even a hand specialist to see if there is something else going on in addition to the cts. It seems alot of us have cts along with a variety of other hand/wrist problems (I know I'm struggling with that issue myself). Good luck and let us know how you make out.
