: How long is tendinitis expected to last? I've had symptoms for nearly three years, no physical therapy and all medications stopped because of pregnancy. I have been off work intermittently for almost seven months and pain is still there. I thought the pain would gradually subside once the offending activity was stopped, but its still there My daughter has had tendonistis in her wrist for over a year now. She's had cortisone shots which helped for awhile, but it always comes back.. She has been unable to stop the offending work related cause though..
