Wow sounds like that OC doc is a real mountain of misinformation! Good thing you have your own doc you can check with also as a back-up. My orthepedic surgeon did the "pulling on my fingers" routine and while doing it asked me if it hurt,which it didn't for me. He said that was good because if it had it would mean that I may also have tendonitis as well at carpal tunnel. So basically he told me that pulling your fingers was to test for tendonitis not CT.
