It's an "ergonomic" (this word gets slapped on everything nowadays) joystick shaped mouse which you move by holding your arm in a neutral "handshake" position. : It seems to use upper arm and shoulder muscles so be careful you don't injure something else. (I'm an idiot and should be slapped as I hurt my shoulder playing games with mine. needless to say no more games for me.) : It has helped me continue working without hurting my wrist though which my normal mouse was not allowing me to do. The company which makes it is called 3M.
