I was informed that pain can run either direction down your nerves. So if your wrist has a pinched nerve, for example, then you could just feel the pain reacting up in your elbow. Or if you have a pinched shoulder, you may feel it in yout hand. So it would make sense that you might have pains in other "healthy" areas. I use to have a numb sorta pain in the same area as yours even though I had a pinched nerve in my wrist. But, you may want to be sure it isn't a whole new rsi starting to show. A lot of times you start re-adjusting your way of moving and writing and driving and.... to stop from further irritating your current injury, that you begin a whole new set of problem for yourself. You know?

: Has anyone here have pain in the (especially in the upper arm) with Carpal Tunnel? I am awaiting word on having a "second" emg study due to the first one being "normal" Yet, I have the classic CTS symptoms. I experience a VERY SHARP pain at times when I move my arm in a straight manner. I only experience this pain when the arm is moved in this way. It occurs on the underside of my arm between the elbow and shoulder. Help Just curious. Thanks for any answer
