One time I suffered with intermittent pain coincidentally in the same area you describe. Left arm, underside between elbow and shoulder. For weeks I suspected possible heart trouble, and suffered more from the "what if's" than the actual pain. After several agonizing weeks and a couple of Dr's visits and tests, a Dr. finally nailed it... torn tricep muscle. Weeks earlier I had heaved an 80 lb dog about fifteen feet who was terrorizing a neighbour's grandkid. The pain was intermittent and lagged well behind the injury so I didn't make the connection. I felt silly, it healed up. As I say, see a good Doc and hopefully you can get it figured out. Good luck. Adam. |
