Hi LP,
I would definitly take the "quart size baggies" with me...I think that's a great plan, I'm sure there will be plenty of ice around for you to use. Although by the time I had my stiches out..post op 14 days, I really didn't need to ice it anymore. But I would bring the bags just in case.
