It infiriates me to to end when I read posts like this! Please do bring up to the doctor about the Ulnar nerve. Be sure that all this is squared out BEFORE they go in and perform surgery, or you'll just be re-opened a few months later, same hand, same spot, different nerve! It is assinine that your doctor just wrote your pinky comment off like nothing! Oh, wait, maybe he already knows and is looking forward to the extra income from your second hand surgery....don't be surprised if that is true! Sorry if I am being "harsh", but this kind of post is all up & down the boards since this board began! I think many doctors are truly pathetic and useless. The rest are awesome, it sems as though we no loger have any in-betweeners. Mandi : When I got my nerve test done for my upcoming 12/3 carpal tunnel surgery, I told the nerve doctor who performed the test that my pinkie finger hurts. He said that it would probably be from stress in my neck. He felt my neck and pressed on it and yes it hurt. It was, funny though. When he walked in the room and shook my hand, I winced in pain because he squeezed my pinkie finger when shaking my hand. He laughlingly said "Test done"! : From what I am reading, from all of your experiences, this may be from a trapped ulner nerve? Should I tell the doctor before the surgery starts that I am concerned about that? I'd rather he do everything needed while he has my arm opened up! : Thanks!
