Sorry about the medical problems. I'm extremely familiar with ulnar nerve entrapment. I had the surgery in Jan (subcutaneous transposition) and since that Dr really screwed things up, a neurosurgeon "re-did" things by doing a submuscular transposition and medial epicondylectomy about a month ago. Don't let the big words fool you. I can explain it all to you. It sounds as if your Dr is taking the most conservative approach with a simple release. That's not a bad thing at all.
