We have two dogs and one cat. We had Mack's brother till the neighbor got rid of him for us then we waited till the same breeder had the litter he is from. They look so much alike (b/t) and have the same mannerisms but of course we still miss Toby and our son still thinks he's coming back. We had Tosha (r/b) and she was almost two. She had to be put on a chain when she was outside because she had been jumping the fence into the neighbors yard and ended up hanging herself. We weren't going to get another one because of the pain for us and mostly for our son as he still thinks she's coming back also. Curtis (the other half) changed our minds as he had always wanted an all white one and they had some in the paper so my son and I went and got Keisha, she'll be 4 mos the 25th. Now our son has a fit when they go outside since he thinks that's the only reason they died. I've told him ok but when they go in the house you get to clean it up. Which then he'll let them go out. He doesn't really understand also with Mack and all his hair sometimes he gets to hot in here and wants out and sometimes I have to trick him into coming back in from the front yard. He'll go out there and start playing with his ball and if he doesn't want to come in he'll stand there looking at me like I'm nuts so I have to get something to coax him in. Just like a kid...lol He gets along with the cat pretty good till my son eggs him on to chase her but the cat and Keisha play fight all the time but Keisha will also let the cat give her a bath on her ears and tail. I think I hate the rain even more now that we have an all white dog. It rains they have to go potty...lol But he's pretty good about standing there letting me dry him off, the other day she dried herself on the couch while I was drying him with a towel and my pants. Decided against the new furniture for awhile...:)
