I also bought elasticated trousers and wore slip on shoes. I typed instead of wrote, as it was my writing hand that was out of action and like Paula I used a plastic bag over my hand in the shower. To be honest, the worst thing I found to do (apart from doing up my bra) was putting on deodorant. I am fortunate in that I have a very good husband who helped me a lot. I'm scheduled for surgery on my left hand on the 15th December, so I'm going to be relying on him again soon. Good luck on Friday. |
