Brenda since your doing the block, you may get to wear a short sleeved shirt or blouse so you won't have to redress over that arm. Thats what my doctor allows me to do. If you feel anything, tell them right then, because they dont know for sure how deadened you are. I'm not supposed to drive 24 hours after a block but your having surgery so I'm sure it will be longer for you. Good luck. And keep us posted..Melani
