Thank you everyone! I was kind of freaking out thinking I'd be fully aware of what was going on during the surgery but it's nice to know I can get some kind of sedation and only be slightly aware. It's also good to know approximately how long I'll be at the hospital for so my boyfriend can take adequate time off from work to drive me/pick me up, etc. Will they make me get into a hospital gown or can I stay dressed with my own clothes but wear something short sleeved? I can't imagine trying to fumble around with clothes afterwards! Will my hand be in a splint of sorts or just bandaged afterwards? Also, how long will it take before I can drive again? Thank you so much everyone for your help! |
