Hey Brenda,
For me surgery was a breeze, the only downside was the anthesiologist (sp?) gave me a general by mistake, I had a hard time recovering from it, and my surgeon was really upset about it. He likes to "twilight" people so they can respond to his questions. But anyway, like Melani mentioned....ICE AND ELEVATE, that was the key for me. I only had endo ct done not thumb like you are having but just keep that ice bag handy. Hopefully you'll have a good outcome!
