: For me this board was an open forum for everyone to "share" their experiences, good and bad. It helped me tremendously when it was time to decide on a course of treatment and the thing that kept and keeps me coming back here is the variety of experiences. Alot of the other boards are STRICKLY anti-surgery, and I had trouble with that. The people on this board represent all types of therapies, surgeries and ways to deal with a very illusive and tricky disease. That's what I have grown to love about it. All I can do is share my personal experience, which was with surgery, and was successful (so far). Everyone has to choose thier own path and follow it. I agree with you Debbie, their are some wonderful doctors out there, as well as bad ones. Just make sure you do your research.
