Brief background: I seem to have typical CTS symptoms, but because the EMGs are borderline, and all the doctors are giving me nonsense answers.

So today and went to a THIRD neurologist, one who supposedly is experienced in neuromuscular diseases (the last neurologist thinks I have a neuromuscular disease -- even tested for MS, the dummy) who is associated with Cornell hospital. Now, Cornell is a pretty damn good hospital.

I saw him for less than 2 minutes. Swear. And then he had me out the door to schedule yet *another* EMG. I asked him what for, considering the last 3 EMGs showed "borderline" CTS. He said that HE does it better. Well, well. I didn't even have a chance to catch my breath and say "to hell with the EMGs, let's just do an MRI!" before he was out the door.

But he did have time to say that he doesn't think it's CTS, but perhaps rheumatism, or bursitis, or fibromyalgia, or maybe something else. (Needless to say, I've looked up the symptoms for all those medical conditions, and all I can say is -- huh?! Wasn't he listening to my symptoms?)

Sigh...
